Woman-Led Gang Foiled in Pune ATM Heist: In the early hours of May 26, 2025, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police thwarted an attempted ATM robbery at an IndusInd Bank kiosk on Dehu-Alandi Road. During routine patrol around 1:50 AM, Constables Samadhan Patawkar and Kiran Patil observed suspicious activity near the ATM. Upon approaching, they noticed a car with two men and a woman, who fled the scene. Investigating further, the officers found the ATM’s shutter partially open and discovered two individuals inside attempting to breach the machine using a gas cutter. The suspects resisted arrest by throwing stones and shouting at the officers. However, with timely reinforcement, police subdued and detained the two men. They were identified as brothers Mustafa Mobin Khan (age – 30) and Mustakim Mobin Khan (age – 25) from Haryana.

The absconding individuals are Seema Yusuf Khan (age – 40), believed to be the gang leader and a local resident, along with Waris Khan (age – 20) and Azad Khan (age – 45), both hailing from Haryana. Authorities have registered a case at Dehu Road Police Station and are actively pursuing the remaining suspects.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Vishal Gaikwad commended the prompt action of the patrol team, emphasizing the importance of vigilance in preventing such crimes. The investigation continues as police work to apprehend the remaining members of the interstate gang.
