Weather in Maharashtra Today: People are troubled with constant change in weather in Maharashtra. Sometimes it is very hot and sometimes it is raining. The scorching heat in some parts of the state are causing many health related issues. While many parts witnessed hailstorm, thunder and winds blowing at a speed of 60 to 90 kmph on Sunday (April 28). According to the IMD, various cyclonic circulation and trough line systems are currently active. One trough line extends from 84° East longitude to 15° North latitude. There is another trough extending to southwest Rajasthan, northwest Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. Cyclonic circulation conditions have also developed near north Bangladesh and Lakshadweep. Additionally, weather department has recorded temperatures in many parts of Marathwada and Vidarbha going up at 42-46 degrees by the end of April.
IMD has assumed temperature to remain stable for next two days. So, it may go down by two to four degree Celcius. Marathwada and some parts of western Maharashtra will experience hot and humid weather for the next two days. On the other hand, weather department has predicted unseasonal rains and hailstorms in Vidarbha. The IMD has appealed to the citizens to be cautious in conditions of lightning and thundershowers.

Heatwave Alert for These Districts:
There is a warning of heatwave for the next two days in Pune, Satara, Solapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in these districts and hot and humid weather is likely to prevail at isolated places.
Rain Alert for These Districts:
There is a yellow alert for Buldhana, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, Yavatmal districts. A warning of heavy rain accompanied by gale force winds has been issued in these districts for the next three days.IMD has also predicted that winds will blow at a speed of 40-50 kmph, and there will be heavy rain accompanied by lightning.
