Vadgaon Bridge Accident: A bike rider died in a fatal accident which took place near Vadgaon bridge at around 4:30 am on Saturday. A Mercedes car hit a Splendor bike near Vishal Hotel. The bike rider died in this accident and the passenger sitting behind was seriously injured. Kunal Chudhar (Chinchwad) is the name of the deceased person. After the accident, the Mercedes car broke the barricade on the bridge and jumped directly onto the service road below. The driver and other passengers in the car suffered minor injuries due to the airbag being activated. However, the car was severely damaged.
The police took immediate action in this case and registered a case under 105 BNS (culpable homicide). The accused have been medically examined and two accused have been taken into custody by the police. The other two accused who were injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The police immediately rushed to the spot and further investigation is underway.
