How Did the Accident Occur?
According to information received, the bus, bearing registration number UK 08 PA 7444, was enroute to Badrinath with 18 passengers on board. It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle and plunged into the river. Local residents, witnessing the horrific incident, promptly informed the police, leading to the rapid deployment of police and SDRF teams.
Reports indicate that a total of 20 people, including the driver, were on the bus. Among the passengers was the Soni family from Udaipur, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, who were on their Char Dham Yatra pilgrimage.
