A total of Rs 24 lakh for twin’s treatment, Rs 10 lakh and Rs 14 lakh respectively, has been deposited to Surya Mother and Child Care Center. The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Cell and the Head of the Charity Hospital Relief Cell have informed Surya Hospital in a letter about this. Subject to the conditions of the Government Act, the hospital should utilize the financial assistance amount within 90 days, otherwise, if there is any balance, it should be deposited in the bank account of the Chief Minister’s Relief Office.
The government has imposed a fine of Rs 10 lakh on the Deenanath Hospital Administration, blaming the negligence behind the death of Tanisha Bhise. While Dr. Sushrut Ghaisas has had to resign. In this case, the Bhise family had met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and given complete information about the incident. At that time, the Chief Minister had assured the Bhise family of proper justice and that the medical expenses of the two little ones would be covered from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
Despite being a charity, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital refused to provide emergency treatment to pregnant Tanisha Bhise. This was the clear violation of the provisions and rules of the Charity Act, and the patient was later treated in two other hospitals. Tanisha delivered at Surya Hospital. At that time, she gave birth to twin girls. However, she died in the meantime due to internal bleeding and medical complications.
