The Avatar Group, a leading human resource consultancy, conducted the survey from February to November 2024. The research involved a comprehensive analysis of data from various sources, including the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), the World Bank, crime records, and regular labor force surveys.
Dr. Soundarya Rajesh, founder and chairperson of Avatar Group, emphasized the critical role of cities in shaping women’s progress. “Cities are the foundation for opportunity, and understanding the core principles and cultural structures of our cities is essential to increase women’s progress and inclusivity,” she stated.
