PMPML Monthly Pass Price Changed: The fare and stage structure of PMPML has been revised in the jurisdiction of Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). The PMP administration has took taken this decision. The information about this has been given by the Transport Department of PMP through a press release. According to the new stage structure, the proposed fare is Rs 10 for one to five kilometers, Rs 20 for five to ten kilometers, Rs 30 for ten to fifteen kilometers, Rs 40 for fifteen to twenty kilometers, Rs 50 for twenty to twenty-five kilometers, Rs 60 for twenty-five to thirty kilometers, Rs 70 for thirty to forty kilometers, Rs 80 for forty to fifty kilometers, Rs 90 for fifty to sixty kilometers, Rs 120 for sixty to seventy kilometers and Rs 120 for seventy to eighty kilometers. No change in monthly passes for students, older people and differently abled
Due to stage structure and ticket price restructuring, the pass prices have also been changed. Earlier, there was a daily pass of Rs 40 and a monthly pass of Rs 900 in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation limits. From now on, a single pass will be available for Rs 70 and a monthly pass for Rs 1500. The price of daily pass within PMRDA limits has been increased from Rs 120 to Rs 150. The Transport Department of PMP has informed through a press release that no change has been made in the monthly passes for students, older people, differently abled citizens and PMRDA.
Before and now:
Rs 40 Daily pass will be available for Rs 70
Rs 900 Monthly pass will be available for Rs 1500
Rs 120 Daily pass at PMRDA border will be available for Rs 150
Increase in fares –
1 to 5 km – Rs 10
5 to 10 km – Rs 20
10 to 15 km – Rs 30

50 to 30 km – Rs 60
30 to 40 km – Rs 70,

PMPML will get 1000 buses –
PMPML will get 1000 additional buses, this information has been given by Municipal Commissioner Rajendra Bhosale. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the Board of Directors. PMPML had requested the state government to provide financial funds for the purchase of buses. It was told that no funds will be available from the state government. Due to this, it was decided that Pune Municipal Corporation, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and Pune Metropolitan Development Authority (PMRDA), which is the service provider of PMPML, will jointly buy these buses. Both the local bodies Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will buy 250 buses and 500 buses from PMRDA.
Earlier, a proposal was made to buy five hundred buses. At that time, it was said in the proposal that Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporations will buy buses. Now PMRDA has also expressed its desire to buy buses, so one thousand buses will be purchased. A fund of Rs 230 crore will be made available for this.
