JEE Advanced 2025 Results Out: IIT Kanpur declared the JEE Advanced 2025 results today, bringing clarity to over 1.8 lakh students who appeared for the exam. Out of these, 54,378 candidates qualified. Rajit Gupta from the IIT Delhi zone topped the list with a remarkable score of 332 out of 360. The cut-off for Common Rank list (CRL) stands at 20.56%. Candidates in the OBC and EWS categories needed atleast 10.50% to qualify, while those in SC and ST categories cleared the exam with a 10.28% cut-off. These percentages mark the gateway to some of India’s most prestigious engineering colleges.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will begin the counselling process from June 3 at 5 PM. Eligible candidates can register, select their preferred institutes, and lock in their choices. The process includes six rounds of seat allocation, offering enough flexibility for students to choose their ideal program and college.
This year, the system continues to support female candidates with a supernumerary quota. The move aims to boost gender diversity across IITs and other leading institutes. Candidates must complete the choice-filling process by June 11. After that, the system will lock the choices automatically.
JoSAA will release seat allotments based on ranks, preferences, and availability. Students must stay alert, update documents, and follow timelines carefully. Missing any step could result in losing the seat.
