Other key officials present included Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Culture Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar, former minister Dilip Walse-Patil, and senior bureaucrats from the Finance and Planning Departments.

According to the plan presented by District Collector Jitendra Dudi, the helipad will soon be constructed to improve accessibility to the shrine. Additionally, the Bhimashankar temple area will see the development of parking facilities, restrooms, and waiting halls.

Major Highlights of the ₹288 Cr Development Plan:

  • ₹163 crore for a Devotee Facility Centre and large parking area at Nigdale.
  • ₹90 crore allocated for temple precinct development.
  • ₹33 crore for the renovation of Shri Koteshwar Temple, roadworks from Rajgurunagar, and trekking/walking path improvements.
  • Parking for 2,000 cars, 200 mini-buses, and 5,000 two-wheelers.
  • Devotee amenities like restrooms, bathing facilities, lockers, shops, and waiting areas.
  • Rebuilding of Bhimashankar bus station, Ram Mandir, and Datt Mandir.
