Padmanabhaswamy Temple to Inspire This Year’s Dagdusheth Ganpati Theme: Preparations for the 133rd Ganesh Festival by Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal have begun with grandeur. This year, the trust will create a majestic replica of Kerala’s famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple.

The replica will mirror the divine and grand presence of the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala one of the 108 Divya Desams and considered the richest temple in the world. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and holds a massive treasure of gold, diamonds, and other precious items.
This year’s replica will be massive, with dimensions of 120 feet in length, 90 feet in width, and 100 feet in height. It will feature 30 magnificent pillars and over 500 sculptures of deities and sages. The dome will be adorned with golden colors, and the entire ceiling will be crafted in an octagonal shape. Designers have planned the main hall in a way that allows devotees to view the idol clearly even from a distance. Renowned art director Vinayak Raskar is managing the temple design, and Kale Mandapwale is handling the structure setup.
With Ganeshotsav starting on August 27, 2025, preparations are in full swing. The festival, known for its devotion and artistic themes, attracts visitors from across Maharashtra and around the world. This year’s theme promises to add a stunning chapter to Pune’s rich cultural celebration.
