He reportedly contacted the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner and instructed strict action against those involved. Vaishnavi Hagawane, the daughter-in-law of suspended NCP member Rajendra Hagawane, allegedly died by suicide under suspicious circumstances. Following her death, the custody of her 9-month-old baby became a matter of intense dispute. The baby was allegedly handed over by Vaishnavi’s husband, Shashank Hagawane, to his friend Nilesh Chavan.
