The maximum temperature in some parts of Vidarbha has come down. IMD has predicted thunder, lightning and gusty winds of 50 to 60 kmph in Amravati, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim and Yavatmal. Yellow alert has been issued for these seven districts. Meanwhile, the weather in Madhya Maharashtra is likely to remain dry.

The maximum temperature in Marathwada, including some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, decreased by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. The mercury has dropped in Kolhapur, Nashik, Sangli, Satara, as well as Solapur and in Vidarbha, Nagpur, Gondia, Wardha and Yavatmal areas. In Marathwada, Dharashiv, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani and Beed have crossed the 40-degree mark. 42.8 degrees Celsius was recorded in Lohegaon in Pune in the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the weather will remain hot and humid in isolated places in Parbhani and Hingoli for the next two days.
