These tremors were so strong that they were felt even in Thailand’s capital Bangkok. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.2 on the Richter scale.
Due to the strong tremors of the earthquake, huge buildings in Bangkok and Myanmar cities started shaking like boats. The video of the same is going viral on social media. In the viral video, people are running on the streets screaming.

Building collapses in Bangkok
It has been reported that a skyscraper in Bangkok has collapsed due to the earthquake. According to the report, the building which was under construction could not withstand the earthquake shock. Similarly, many more videos are going viral after the earthquake, in which the panic can be seen.
According to geologists, the epicentre of the earthquake was near Sagaing on Myanmar’s southern coast. The Geological Survey and Germany’s GFZ Geological Centre said the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometres (6.2 miles). That is why the earthquake was felt so strongly.
