Hyderabad: Allu Arjun Arrested: South Indian superstar and ‘Pushpa 2’ actor Allu Arjun has been arrested by the Hyderabad police. The actor was taken into custody on Friday in connection with a stampede that occurred during a screening of his film on December 4th at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. A 35-year-old woman, M. Revathi, died in the incident, and her son was critically injured.
A case was filed against Allu Arjun and the theater management following the incident. The theater manager is already in jail. Allu Arjun has also been charged with security-related offenses.

According to reports, Allu Arjun has been arrested under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Indian Penal Code and a non-bailable warrant has been issued against him.
Allu Arjun has been charged under section 105 for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
While filing the FIR, Akansha Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, Hyderabad Police, told the media, “Based on a complaint from the family members of the deceased, a case has been registered under IPC sections 105 (punishment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 118(1) r/w 3(5) (voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt) at the Chikkadpally police station. It is being investigated. Strict action will be taken against all those responsible for the chaotic situation inside the theater, which led to the death of one person and injuries to others.”
